Welcome to the Gary L. Powers University of Kentucky Wildcats Basketball Collection web site.

Gary Powers has always been an avid University of Kentucky basketball FANatic and began collecting UK memorabilia in his home about 8-9 years before he passed away in 1998. In this one of a kind collection, you will find everything from autographed photo's, basketballs, tennis shoes, to baseketball hoop backboards. He collected anything with the UK logo printed on it such as, bread wrapers , sugar packs, coke cans and bottles, popcorn and more. You will also find in this collection, many autographed basketballs from championship years, autographed pictures of teams, complete collection of magazines, game day programs, Final Four programs, National Championship programs and so much more.

This collection grew to fill and entire room in his home, floor to ceiling, and wall to wall. Unfortunately his famlily had not been able to continue with his colletion. It was is in his families wishes to be able to sell this collection as a whole to another FANatic like Gary Powers, so that they may continue on with the collection. The collection was sold in April of 2004 to one lucky and very happy guy.
